You might not have permission - Need Help

Hello Friends,

I am banging my head for past few days just for one user who is not able to access his owa.

I am getting error :
You might not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials you supplied.

Steps:
checked for other user it is working fine.
checked the IIS setting and permission is having the default setting
disconnected the mailbox and reconnected it back, it is working for a while then again same error.
as per company standard we create one user along with mailbox with a ID :3501 and we simply change the mail address to firstname.lastname@abc.com.
it is working for all other users except this one.
deleted the user and mailbox and created with new one, still we the same issue.
checked the ldp dump while and while at the time of issue and changed certain value as per the working dump but still i am not able to resolve it.
right now i am totally out of focus...
 any hint...

Try moving his mail box to another server .. if available..
Also try deleting the user and creating a new one and then reconnect his mail box.

        hi joe,

Yes i got fix but i was shocked with my output. I don't whether it will help you or not. Even i am not able find how it could be a fix but i tested it for atleast 4 times to confirm it.

Here we can need do some test...
Let say I have one user called as ismail md.
        First name : Ismail
        Last Name : MD
        And Login ID : 3502

If i want to access my owa i will type 3502 and put my pwd.

I created one test account called as
        First Name : Test
        Last Name : OWa
        Emp ID : 3102

Now this test user is able to access owa and even i compared the attributes by ldp dump it is same.

Now my guess i got is some thing is overwriting on ismail account so it is a user mailbox issue.

Then i tried to swap the name i.e
for Emp ID : 3502 i kept Test Owa & for 3102 i kept my name now i am able to access,
now it came to conclusion that something is overlapping 3502 emp login id attributes

Now i open the Active Dir Users and Computers and searched for the value 3502 and finally i came to know that there are other 7 users who have 3502 value in the Office Attributes. i.e Test Owa has 3502 login id
for Office Description : 3502 for other users

I changed it to "tech depart" those are having office description 3502 and then replicated the information

Finally i am able access the mail through owa.

Amazing and shocking treat for my solution.

hello all - im pretty new to this site and couldnt figure out hw to create a new topic, so this one would be offtopic.
We help enable out of office for users in our org who might have forgotten to enable before goin on leaves and in other circumstances where a user might not have access to their email.
in a day we recieve more than 10 oof requests which i becomin a li'l pain.
i was wonderin if there is any option to create a vbscript where in we can enter our admin username n pw in the script, leave the user name field optional and run it entering the username depending on whoz requesting and if that would enable the oof.

    any thoughts/insights?

    thanks a ton in advance..
