Public Folder Question

Hi to all Exchange Server Guru's out there...

One query from PFs ...

I have around 600GB of PF database and i want to knock off some data
from there.
I am not very sure , which one are in use and which are not in use and
not even sure what exactly those folders contains.
Now is there any way (any tool or script) which can fetch the
information about the last day when the PF was used and also about the
owner of the Public folder.

We have around 55000 or more PFs.

Any inputs will be welcomed.....

-Rajnish

    Multiple choices:

    A) For Exchange 200X:

    1. Open ESM and browse to the public folder store of your choice.

    2. Then click on "Public Folders" and you'll see a list of various
    properties on
the right hand side for every PF that is located in this store.

    3. One column is called "Last Access Time". This is where you can determine the
last date/time that this PF was accessed

PfInfo and PfDavAdmin tool to export the permissions.

    Cheers!

Sorry guys for not being very active on this blog. I found this Q very interesting. There is a solution for this. -- our very own PFDAVADMIN

First, using MFCMAPI, and doing some research, identify the "attribute" that holds the last update time.
(I know this will take some time, but not more than 15 mins)

Then, use PFDAVADMIN, and in one of the menus, there is an option to export the value of one attribute of multiple PF's to a CSV file.

Sorry dude, dont have PFDAVADMIN on my system, else I could have been more precise. But I am sure you got a headway into this query.
